Christmas creations

Well Christmas is going to be here before we know it.... And that means posting out Christmas cards! I thought I'd better get a start on them before I end up starting them in the first week of December AGAIN!

Here are a few I've made over the last week or so. The stamp sets I've used are from the hi day catalogue. If you haven't seen it, let me know! There are some awesome new stamps, papers, ribbons and embellishments.

The Crazy Crafters September Blog Hop - Holiday Catalogue

Thank you for joining us on this months Crazy Crafters Blog Hop! If you're following the blog hop in order, you should have arrived here from Sarah's blog.

This months theme is the brand new Holiday Catalogue. It was probably good timing with the theme this month, as I have had to start and think about the cards and packaging I'll be giving this year. BUT in saying that, I have, like so many of you out there, been absolutely flat out lately and have not had much time in my craft room at all! So I've only done two cards and packaging ideas this month. But the best thing was they took me only a couple of hours to create!

The first set I did was using the new Designer Series Papers called Trim the Tree. It comes in a paper stack. Its awesome! I've also used the new Gift Box Punch Board to create the box... WOW! I love it! So easy to use.

The second set I've made is using the new designer series paper called Nordic Noel. The presents pattern is my favourite! I used the matching ribbon as well in Real Red.

To make the box, I followed the design from Pootles Papercraft on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVukcBasOGc. She is so clever, I just love watching her videos!

The Crazy Crafters August Blog Hop - Colour Combos

Welcome back for another exciting month of Blog Hopping! Thanks for stopping by my blog today! If you've been hopping through the blog, you should have arrived here from the very talented Angela. Her work blows me away! Such talent and creativity!! I will have the blog lineup at the end of my post in case you get off track.

This months them is COLOUR COMBOS! Of all the choices we had, I chose this one, Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral and Old Olive. Not colours I have used before together, so I was looking forward to it!

So here is what I came up with......

It was also the first time I had used the stamp set Kinda Eclectic and I can already tell its going to be a go to set whenever I need foliage! I just love it! Of course I did use the flowers from the Flower Shop stamp set, but you can substitute for any flower stamps you have in your stash.

New Makes with the NEW catalogue!

Hi there!

I've finally been able to get some time in my craft room to make a few cards. It's so therapeutic! If only my kids and hubby understood my therapy! LOL!

I'd like to share a few with you.... The first two are using new In Colours. My absolute favourites are definitely Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey.

This next one is using the new stamp set Perfect Peacock. I've seen some beautiful cards made with this stamp. This one I made with Watercoloir Wonder DSP which unfortunately is retired now, but if you're good with water colouring or just colouring by hand in general, it will look awesome!!

Crazy Crafters July Blog Hop - The New Stampin' Up! Catalogue
